TransIskandar Presents Kotak Muzik‏

Perbadanan Pengangkutan Awam Iskandar Malaysia (Perbadanan PAIM) is proud to bring you “TransIskandar presents KOTAK MUZIK”!

This first of its kind event in Malaysia will take place on the 7th of July 2012 at Dataran Bandaraya Johor Bahru from 11am to 7pm.

“TransIskandar presents KOTAK MUZIK” will be the first ever acoustic performance in a bus at this scale in Malaysia. It surely marks a new era of promoting the use of public transport in Iskandar Malaysia, and perhaps, in the country.

It has been the vision of Perbadanan PAIM that someday, public transport will be the mode of choice for the people of Iskandar Malaysia.  Using the unorthodox approach of branding in public transport, Perbadanan PAIM believes this can be done with the support from everybody. 

As we know, youth is a force to be reckoned with, and Perbadanan PAIM believes that they are the perfect change agent. If you can make youth to use and promote public transport, you can make anybody to do the same.  This event is held to get the attention of the youth on the importance of public transport, and to get them to ride together with Perbadanan PAIM towards achieving the world class public transportation service in Iskandar Malaysia we dream of. With the help of JOHO, a talented, aspiring and supportive youth NGO, that long winding road towards achieving our dreams has become shorter and definitely easier. Together, we will try to change people’s perception of public transportation in Iskandar Malaysia.

And what best to celebrate this occasion of youth inclusion in this noble effort, if not through music, talented locally produced musicians and well-known celebrities?

Statik, Medinee, Shila Amzah, Pesawat, Fahrin Ahmad and many more local bands from Iskandar Malaysia will do what they do best, and promote public transportation in a way never been done before.  Shila Amzah, Pesawat and Fahrin Ahmad, will ride separate TransIskandar buses from three different locations, perform exclusive acoustic performance and chit chatting with their fans and commuters along the way, congregate at Dataran Bandaraya Johor Bahru for a grand finale with our local band Medinee, all with the same intention to make public transport the mode of choice for the youth of Iskandar Malaysia!
