GEGO 2012: The Programs

GEGO 2012 will take place on 8th September 2012 from 11:30am onwards at Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim, Bukit Timbalan, Johor Bahru. Make sure you are free on that date to come and join us. Entrance fee for GEGO is RM10 and the first 5000 will get an exclusive GEGO 2012 lanyard.


There is absolutely no reason for you to miss GEGO 2012 since we have prepared Trans Iskandar shuttle bus from Larkin to Bukit Timbalan at only RM1, all thanks to Perbadanan Pengangkutan Awam Iskandar Malaysia (PAIM). Be sure to keep that ticket because you are going to need it for your return journey as well.

We have prepared all sorts of exciting activities and interesting programs, with diverse selection of offerings for you guys, from Car Boot Sales, to exhibitions, to gatherings to performances by 10 different bands.


If you are a photo, art and extreme sports enthusiast, then don't miss the Photo & Lifestyle Exhibition from Roda Radikal, Boomslang and Southernfixed which are located at the back of Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim from 4th to 8th September 2012. On the event day itself, there will be live painting (by A.R.A.H), live doodles (by TRUSK Aziz) and live graffiti (by The Super Sunday). Be sure to look for them!

For those who are into vintage cars and vespa, there will be showcase of them at Bukit Timbalan on the day of the event. You guys are welcome to participate and vote for the most 'gerek' car/vespa and the most rare vintage car. You can get the ballot from the person in charge and cast your vote. If you guys are interested  to be part of the gathering itself (if you are an owner of vintage car), please call Mr. Boy at 010-8884109. For those who come to GEGO 2012 riding a vespa, please gather at Post Office Johor Bahru by 1pm with the rest of the vespa gang because the entrance will only be opened for vehicle at that specific time only. Once you are inside, you aren't allowed to ride your vespa out till the event ends.

Boomslang, Johor's own longboard community, will hold International Longboard Slide Jamm at GEGO 2012. Besides the slide jamm, there will be standie competition, clinic and exhibition. Cash money of RM1000 awaits those who participate in the competition. As for those who are interested to learn more about long board, now is the time to come forward and try out this extreme sport. There is also a fixed gear competition and Alley-Cat race to be held at GEGO 2012. The best part is, there is no fee, just show your GEGO 2012 ticket and you can be one of the guys who might walk away with the prizes. We are pretty confident you guys are looking forward to stage performances the most. Well then, hold on to your seat because we are bringing ten different bands, both local and international, to GEGO 2012. They will blow your shocks off with electrifying performances starting from 4pm till midnight. That is eight hours worth of good satisfying music for you guys to enjoy. We are instilling healthy living lifestyle so you guys are more than welcome to come to the event with your own bike, skateboard, longboard or even a roller blade. We want you to experiment and have fun at GEGO 2012!
